Mervis SCADA is available as a Progressive Web App (PWA).

For the best user experience, we highly recommend installing the application directly to your device. Installing the PWA maximizes your screen space and allows you to receive push notifications. This modern approach lets you install the app directly from your web browser without needing to visit the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. The PWA ensures you always have the latest version and works seamlessly across all operating systems.

To install the app, navigate to https://scada.mervis.info/mobile on your device and follow the specific guide for your platform below:

The Mervis SCADA mobile app brings the powerful data visualization of our desktop website directly to your pocket. You can view and interact with full-featured graphs seamlessly within the application. The app fully supports both portrait and landscape orientations, automatically adjusting to give you the best view of your data.

Accessing a graph for any datapoint is quick and intuitive:

1. Locate your datapoint: Open your project and find the specific datapoint you want to analyze in the standard view.
2. Touch and hold: Press and hold your finger on the datapoint. The row will turn green to indicate it has been selected.
3. Open the graph: Once selected, a blue graph icon will appear in the bottom right corner of your screen. Tap this icon to instantly generate a Line graph for that datapoint.

By default, tapping the graph icon will open a Line graph. However, you can easily customize how you view your data to suit your needs. Tap the Settings menu within the graph view to adjust the parameters. The available settings will change depending on which graph type you currently have selected.

When using a Line graph, you can adjust the following:

• Time span: Change the duration of the data displayed (e.g., 3 days, 1 week).
• Graph type: Switch your visualization to Bar or Carpet formats.
• Multiple Y axes: Toggle multiple axes on or off for comparing different data scales.
• Show points: Display individual data points along the line.
• Connect points (skip nulls): Choose whether to connect the line across missing data gaps.
• Legend: Choose how the legend is displayed (e.g., Short names).

When using a Bar graph, you have specific options for calculating and grouping your data:

• Time span: Change the duration of the data displayed.
• Graph type: Switch your visualization to Line or Carpet formats.
• Bar range: Group data by specific intervals (e.g., Day).
• Calculation type: Choose how the data is computed (e.g., Difference with interpolation).
• Normalize (100%): View the bar data as a percentage of a whole.
• Legend: Choose how the legend is displayed.

Carpet graphs offer a streamlined settings menu focused purely on time and layout:

• Time span: Change the duration of the data displayed.
• Graph type: Switch your visualization to Line or Bar formats.
• Legend: Choose how the legend is displayed.

The mobile app supports three distinct graph types. Feel free to rotate your phone at any time to view them in either portrait or landscape mode!

Line graphs are perfect for tracking continuous data trends and identifying fluctuations over time (such as temperature changes).

Bar graphs are ideal for comparing distinct data sets, viewing totals, or analyzing historical averages side-by-side.

Carpet graphs act as heatmaps. They are excellent for visualizing data density and spotting complex patterns across specific times of day over a longer period.

Notice for existing users: Previously, native Mervis SCADA applications were available in the App Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android). These native versions have been discontinued and removed from the stores.

• If you already have the native app installed: It will continue to function normally. You can keep using it, though it will no longer receive updates.
• If you uninstall the app or switch phones: You will not be able to find the app in the store again. You must switch to the new Progressive Web App (PWA) linked above.
