This page provides a clear overview of the Mervis licensing and pricing structure. Pricing is specific to the number of data points purchased.

• Pricing Note: All prices are listed exclusive of VAT.
• Currency Note: All prices are officially quoted in Czech Koruna (CZK). EUR figures shown throughout this page are approximate, calculated at a reference rate of 1 EUR ≈ 24.5 CZK, and are provided for convenience only. Exchange rates fluctuate—please contact our Sales Department for an exact EUR quote at the time of purchase.

The Mervis system is divided into the engineering environment (IDE) and the runtime software (RT) that executes logic on the controller.

• Mervis IDE: The development environment is always free to use. You can download it, program your projects, and configure systems without any licensing costs.
• Mervis RT: The runtime software running on the PLC/controller is always a licensed and paid product.
  • Trial Mode: Mervis RT will function for 20 minutes without a valid license. This allows for free testing and verification of your logic before purchase.
  • Bundled Licenses: For certain hardware (e.g., Unipi), the Mervis RT license is often already included in the hardware price.
  • Standalone Licenses: For other platforms or custom installations, licenses must be purchased from Energocentrum.

The Mervis SCADA Licence is an on-premises version of the software for programming PLCs, monitoring and controlling technologies, buildings, and industrial automation within the Mervis system. The licence is provided as an on-premises solution on the customer's infrastructure with remote installation.

Important License Details:

• Installation: Remote Installation of the Mervis SCADA Licence costs 25 000 CZK (approx. €1,020) and is a required component.
• Updates: The first 12 months of updates and maintenance after placing an order are included for free in the price of the Mervis SCADA Licence. Every additional 12 months costs 50% of the price of the Mervis SCADA Licence according to the current version of the price list.
• Validation: The application uses an online license that needs to contact the license server every few days to validate the license.

Mervis SCADA Hosting is a cloud-based version of the software for programming PLCs, monitoring and controlling technologies, buildings, and industrial automation within the Mervis system.

The price for data hosting will be calculated retroactively for the previous billing period and depends on the total number of data points within the customer's project. Customers can use the following formula to determine their specific price:

Mervis DB is an on-premises database designed for the long-term storage of data from units, applications, and other devices.

• Installation Note: Remote Installation of the Mervis DB Licence is a required component and costs 25 000 CZK (approx. €1,020).

Custom Solutions refer to individually billed services provided to the customer outside the scope of the agreed-upon services for individual Mervis products, particularly activities related to installation, modifications, or configuration within the Mervis system.

• Billing Unit: The minimum billing unit is half an hour.
• Hourly Rate: Installation of a new version, changes to the Mervis SCADA Licence, or general technical support is billed at an hourly rate of 1 450 CZK/hour (approx. €59/hour).

In addition to standard SCADA and database licensing, Mervis provides secure connectivity options with the following terms:

• Mervis Proxy: This service is free to use for every licensed Mervis RT (Runtime).
  • Note: To use this service, a ProxyId is required. This can be obtained using your license number from the provider who issued your license.
• Mervis CloudAccess: This service is available for every customer of Mervis SCADA cloud. For setup and activation, please contact our sales department.
