Licensing

Mervis SCADA is available in two licensing models: Cloud Service (SaaS) and On-premises Software.

Depending on your deployment method, the licensing requirements differ:

• No license file is required.
• Access is provided via a Service Subscription.
• Pricing and feature tiers are managed directly through your Mervis account.

To run Mervis SCADA on your own server, you must purchase a license and activate the software.

• Online Activation: The software uses an online licensing system. The server must have access to the internet to validate the license against the Mervis licensing servers.
• Limits: The license defines specific limits for your installation, such as:
  • Maximum number of Data Points
  • Number of Server Instances
  • Expiration Date (if applicable)
