To run Mervis DB, an online license is required. The application periodically communicates with the server at licenses.mervis.info to verify the license validity, enabled features, number of data points, and more.
Windows (obsolete)
To run Mervis DB on your server, you need to activate a license and generate an activation file. This activation file (.licact) is bound to specific hardware and contains limits regarding the number of data points, number of server instances, validity period, etc.
