EnergoSync Integration

ℹ️ PARTNER SOLUTION
EnergoSync is an independent product developed by our cooperating partner, Coding Bear. While it is not a native Energocentrum product, it is fully compatible with Mervis systems and highly recommended for our customers managing complex energy infrastructure.

EnergoSync is a modern, cloud-based SaaS solution designed for Local Distribution System (LDS) operators, industrial enterprises, energy companies, and large consumers. The application allows you to transfer measured telemetry from the field straight into your regulatory reporting and billing workflows. It serves as the central Single Source of Truth for your entire energy management infrastructure.

  • Customer Portal: A turn-key, white-label solution that gives end customers real-time access to their meter data. This allows operators to meet legislative data-sharing obligations immediately without in-house development.
  • Automated OTE & EDC Reporting: Daily automated generation of XML files formatted for CS OTE and EDC SAKU systems.
  • Data Correction & Reconstruction: Advanced algorithms for linear interpolation, estimation using Standardized Load Profiles (TDD), and manual corrections with continuous data-series validation.
  • Seamless Mervis Integration: Direct connectivity to Mervis SCADA and accounting/ERP software via pre-built connectors and custom agents.
  • Open API & No Vendor Lock-In: Fully documented REST API for versatile data exports and third-party system integrations.

Connecting EnergoSync with Mervis SCADA requires your Mervis SCADA login credentials. EnergoSync uses these credentials to authenticate with Mervis and retrieve data for your devices.

Interval consumption view for a specific Mervis device within EnergoSync

Important: The Mervis account associated with the provided credentials must have permission to access the required devices' data within Mervis SCADA. We recommend creating the Mervis profile before adding devices to EnergoSync so you can assign it during the device import or manual setup process.
  • Go to the Settings tab and select Mervis Profiles.
  • Here, you can add a new profile, as well as edit or delete existing ones.
  • To add a new profile, fill in the following fields:
    • Name: Profile name as it will be displayed in EnergoSync.
    • Username: Mervis SCADA login username.
    • Password: Mervis SCADA login password.

Option A: Bulk Device Import

  • Bulk import is performed by uploading a standardized `.xlsx` file (available for download directly in the app) containing device details.
  • Locate column M (`mervisProfileName`).
  • For each device, enter the exact name of the Mervis profile as created in EnergoSync.
  • Upload the file. The profile will be assigned automatically, and data retrieval will begin immediately.
  • *Note: If column M contains a profile name that does not exist in EnergoSync, the import will fail and display an error message: “Mervis profile does not exist” (“Neexistující Mervis profil”).*

Option B: Individual Device Setup or Editing

  • When creating or editing a meter manually via the form, select the corresponding profile from the Mervis profile drop-down menu.

Every device must have its corresponding `projectId` and datapoints configured (for details, refer to the Mervis Wiki). Enter these details into either the import `.xlsx` file or the manual device creation/editing form.

EnergoSync can automatically submit interval consumption reports to OTE and EDC systems. Communication with these third-party platforms requires authorization certificates:

  • OTE: Requires a qualified commercial/personal certificate.
  • EDC: Requires two certificates—a system commercial certificate and a qualified commercial certificate.
Note: To initiate automated communication and complete the required testing in the target systems' test environments, please contact EnergoSync Technical Support to assist with initial setup and certificate configuration.

The configuration process is similar for both systems:

  1. In EnergoSync, navigate to the Export tab and select either OTE Export or EDC Export.
  2. Click the Scheduled Reports (Plánované reporty) button in the top menu bar.
  3. The Scheduled Reports page allows you to add a new scheduled task, check the status of ongoing reports, or modify existing settings.

Adding a New Task: All of the following fields are required:

  • Name: A descriptive name for the task in EnergoSync.
  • Frequency (Period): Select Daily or Monthly.
  • Meter Activity Filter: Dynamically filters meters based on their active/inactive status.
  • First Run Time: Date/time picker to select when the first report should be generated and sent.
  • Meter List: Select (via checkboxes) which electricity meters to include in the scheduled report.

*(Note on Missing Data: If a selected meter has no recorded data for the required time interval, the report will automatically transmit a value of 0 flagged with the “substituted data” (náhradní data) attribute)*.
