Mervis CloudAccess

  • Technology replacing the use of VPN for remote data communication while minimizing latency.
  • Connection is established from PLC to the cloud - communication thus bypasses public IP and port forwarding.
    • Encrypted connection is established at cloudaccess.mervis.info:23010/tcp
  • A separate direct encrypted TCP connection is established for each client - the communication within can thus use an unsecured protocol (e.g., Modbus TCP) without compromising security.
