====== RcWare Vision Installers ======

This page contains download links for the latest RcWare Vision hotfixes, extensions, and critical installation instructions for modern Windows operating systems.

===== Critical Installation Warnings =====

**1. Installation Directory (Windows Vista / 7 / 8 / 10 / 11)**
  * **DO NOT** install RcWare Vision in the `C:\Program Files\` or `C:\Program Files (x86)\` folders.
  * Windows User Account Control (UAC) virtualization will prevent the software from functioning correctly.
  * **Solution:** Always install to a root directory, for example: `C:\RcWare\`.

**2. Windows 11 Compatibility (Version 22H1 and newer)**
  * The RcWare **.NET 4** version crashes immediately when you start communication.
  * **Solution:** You must use the **.NET 1.1** version of RcWare.

**3. Windows 10 Compatibility (Update KB5011048)**
  * After the June 2023 update (Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8.1 for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64), Windows 10 exhibits the same crash behavior as Windows 11.
  * **Solution:** - Use the **.NET 1.1** version of RcWare (same as Windows 11).
    - **Uninstall** `RcWare Extensions 4.0.17` before installing.

> **Important Upgrade Note:** If you are installing the **.NET 4** hotfix over an existing **.NET 1.1** installation, you must:
>   - Uninstall **RcWareExtensions** first.
>   - Remove the `rcware.exe.config` file from the RcWare application directory.

**Basic Extensions**
  * **Version:** 3.3.2016 [1.4.104]
  * File: `RCWareExtensionsSetup.msi`
  * **.NET 4 Version:** 3.3.2016 [4.1.12] (`RCWareExtensionsSetup.msi`)

**OPC Server & Extensions**
  * **Version:** 19.3.2008
  * Files: `ESG.OPCServer.RcWareSetup.msi`, `RCWareOPCServerExtensionSetup.msi`
  * **Requirement:** You must have **OPC Core Components 3.00** installed.

**RcWeb & RcWebGate**
  * **Version:** 12.3.2013
  * Files: `rcwebSetup.msi` (EN), `rcwebSetup.msi` (CZ), `WebGateSetup.msi`
  * **.NET 4 Version:** `rcweb_en.zip`, `WebGateSetupNet4.msi`

**Utilities**
  * **SQL Extensions:** SQL
  * **SCADA Converter:** `Scada2ConverterFromRc.zip` (Located in the `\Utilities` folder under the RcWare application directory).

These files are kept for archival purposes only.
