===== Critical Installation Warnings =====

**1. Avoid Program Files**
  * **Issue:** Windows UAC prevents RcWare from running correctly in protected folders.
  * **Solution:** Install to a root directory (e.g., `C:\RcWare\`). **DO NOT** use `C:\Program Files\`.

**2. Windows 11 & Windows 10 (Update KB5011048)**
  * **Issue:** .NET 4 version crashes on startup or communication.

  * **Note:** Uninstall `RcWare Extensions 4.0.17` before switching to .NET 1.1.
