====== Alarm Notifications ======

A user can set up alarm notifications under their account for individual alarm data points, a group of points, or an entire project.

If you do not see the option for user management in the menu: [[en:mervis-scada:90-how-to:75-simple-user-management|]]

First, you need to enter the phone number or email address in user management.

Then, select the desired data points and open the **"Alarm Notification"** option.

The notification settings offer the following options:

  * Type: Project, Path (Group of data points), Data point
  * Delay: The delay in sending an alarm notification after an alarm occurs in Mervis
  * Transitions: Occurrence, Reset (transition from alarm to OK state)
  * Message: A predefined message (an example can be found here [[cs:mervis-scada:90-how-to:45-alarm-sms|]]
  * Channels: SMS, Email
  * ID

After setting up, an icon will appear in Mervis, indicating the activated data points, group of points, or the entire project.
