====== Database Profiles ======

Here you can create a new database profile within your domain.  
A database profile is used to store data from the data source to which it is assigned.  
Currently, only the **MervisDB** database is supported. To create a profile, you need to know the **API URL** of the relevant **MervisDB** instance.  
Profiles are created exclusively within the **Mervis SCADA** portal.  
For full functionality, a user with the same **username and password** must exist in the corresponding MervisDB instance.

  * **Profile Name** – name of the database profile  
  * **Username** – username for accessing the database profile (must exist in MervisDB)  
  * **Password** – password for accessing the database profile  
  * **Database URL** – API URL path to the MervisDB instance ([[https://kb.mervis.info/doku.php/cs:mervis-db:10-api|]])
