Visualization, data project, file, or “data-set” — these terms refer to the method of organizing data points to facilitate easy access. This organization allows data points to be grouped into collections, charts, and screens in any way necessary to simplify the operation of technical equipment and the evaluation of data.
Mervis offers three primary ways to display data within a project:
Table View: A tabular display where individual data points are listed row-by-row and can be organized into groups.
Graph View: Charts that use pre-defined templates to determine how data and lists of points are displayed, or which users can configure on-the-fly during standard operation.
Schema View: Schematic displays consisting of pre-created graphical screens that mix live data with visual elements and embedded charts.
Creating a data project or visualization is generally straightforward if the delivery of the I&C (BMS) system follows the recommended standards.
